| Every drum mix asphalt plant begins with
a set of cold feed bins. After 35 years of building cold feed
bins, ALmix has learned that there is no substitute for a MASSIVE
design. Steel to withstand the constant abrasion of aggregates
as well as the occasional front-end loader collision. The next
requirement is a reliable belt feeder that won’t plug
or leak. Our unique troughing roll design eliminates leakage
without the need for troublesome skirt boards. All ALmix belt
feeders are powered by direct coupling a vector rated AC motor
to a helical gearbox which is in turn direct connected to the
feeder head shaft. Sheaves, belts and belt guards are eliminated.
Flux vector technology is utilized to provide 100% torque at
all speeds. Reliable devices are provided which may be interlocked
to air cannons and quick opening slide gates. Wiring is placed
in conduit to high and low voltage junction boxes with plug-in
connections to the operator’s control center. |

| Feeder bins are available with three different compartment
sizes to match plant production. Choose from 8' x 12', 9' x
12' or 10' x 14' top openings. The following list of optional
